Neramillai
Kathalikka Neramillai is to be remade. Manobala
will produce the film and Selvabarathy will
wield the megaphone. The cast include Prasanna,
Srikanth, Pasupathy, Vadivelu and Sneha.
The shooting is expected to commence on
September 15th.
Sneha
Interior decoration works are on at Sneha's
newly built house in Alapakkam. It is expected
that the actress will occupy the house as
soon as it is completed.
Azhagar Malai
Sangili Murugan's Azhagar Malai shooting
has been wrapped up and the dubbing process
is on. Ilayaraja has composed music for
five songs in this film. Azhagar Malai will
hit the silver screens sometime during the
end of September.
Mirugam
The Telugu dubbed version of Mirugam is
slated to be released on August 15th.
Kanal Kannan
Stunt master Kanal Kannan is due to debut
as hero with Sattrumun Kidaitha Thagaval.
The film, which will be released on August
29th, has Ammuvagiya Naan fame Bharathi
playing the female lead.
Thamizharasan
Director Vincent Selva will adorn the director's
mantle for Thamizharasan, which has Thol
Thirumavalavan in the lead role. The shooting
will begin next month.
Naveena Periyar
Lyricist Snehan is producing a film Naveena
Periyar. Velu Prabakaran will direct as
well as don the greasepaint in this film.
Jeevan
Jeevan's Payanigal Gavanithirku has been
dropped.
Thirumurugan
After director family-oriented subjects
such as Muniyandi Vilangiyal Moondram Aandu
and Em Magan, Thirumurugan is now planning
to come up with a crime film.

Director Saba, who has films like Enga
Thambi, Naam and Swadeshi to his credit,
is trying to lure Maddy into signing a film
for him.
Sandhya
Director of June R, Revathy Varma's husband
Suresh will direct a Tamil film with Muruga-fame
Ashok, Sandhya and Vadivelu.
Ameer
Director Ameer's debut venture as hero,
Yogi, has successfully completed 120 days
shooting schedule. Sources close to the
unit say that about 40 days shooting still
remains. Yogi is slated to hit the screens
early next year.
