H Farook, a 31-year-old from South Ukkadam, Coimbatore was hacked to death by a four-member gang on Thursday night. He was reportedly killed for posting rationalistic views against Muslim religion on Facebook. On Friday, M Ansardh, a resident of Podanur has surrendered before the Coimbatore Judicial Magistrate Court V confessing to the crime.
