Javed Miandad calls for death penalty for match-fixers

Former Pakistan cricket skipper Javed Miandad has said that those found guilty of match-fixing should be given death penalty. Calling for strong measures in order to avoid match-fixing, the cricketer said match-fixers should be given capital punishment so that others will fear attempting such crimes.The remarks come after an alleged spot-fixing scandal involving Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif.
