The movie Aaru which has Surya and Trisha in the lead is facing a problem. A character named Sound Saroja in the movie, performed by yester year actress Aishwarya, is depicted insulting a political leader Rajarathinam in a meeting. Now, a real congress leader in Sivagangai by the same name has filed a case against the producer Saran, director Hari and actress Aishwarya stating that they have indirectly insulted him.

He says that the movie's production controller, Kannan, secretary of Congress at his place, has requested the director to have this scene to defame his image and that the director has sincerely obliged. Magistrate Rajasekaran has now issued a summon to Saran, Hari and Aiswarya to appear before court on March 15 2006.
