Veteran K. Balachander returns to the silver
screen after two and a half years. His previous
film, Parthale paravasam did not do well.
This time round, his film Poi is produced
by his protégé, Prakashraj.
Udaykiran who is a popular hero in Telugu
makes his debut in Tamil as also the leading
lady, Vimala Raman. |

and shooting is complete. Post production
work including dubbing, effects, background
mixing are all over. Monomix effects is
being carried out at Trinity Digilab in
Chennai. After this, DTS mixing will be
carried out and the film will be finally
