Oh, the great wait is over! Mohanlal has agreed to do the important villain character in Rajini’s Sivaji. But the Malayalam star has laid down two conditions before signing on the dotted line. One, he should get the full script and second, his portions should be filmed quickly as he was unable to give bulk dates due to his busy commitments in Malayalam. It seems that Shankar has also given the nod. Therefore, Mohanlal would read the script once he is back from the US where he is on a short visit right now.

In the meanwhile, a section of Kollywood has started wondering what role would do justice to Mohanlal in a Rajini movie. The answer to this lies with Shankar. Shankar was very particular that Mohanlal do this role. Everybody would remember Mohanlal’s stellar performances in movies like Siraichalai, Iruvar and the Hindi movie, Company. All these movies were big banner multi starrers. Still Lal went on to stamp his authority in each of these movies. This is what a director like Shankar would like to bank on.
