Vijay’s Adhi is a remake of Athanokkade
from Telugu. Trisha is the heroine. For
an action sequence in the film, a jeep
did four somersaults from a height of
60 feet. The driver of the jeep was hospitalized
and had been in a critical condition.
He
is now said to be out of danger. Adhi
also breaks the trend that normally a
couple of duets are filmed overseas. The
crew flew to Switzerland for shooting
only one duet. The rest were filmed here.
