A martial arts sequence in Rajnikant’s
Tamil film “Muthu” had given
him a chance to enter a French Film. Alain
Chabat, a filmmaker and actor from France,
was in search of a small filler for his
comedy film “Rent a Wife”. Impressed
by a fight sequence in “Muthu”,
he immediately contacted the makers of the
film seeking the permission for using a
ten-second Kung-fu clip of Ranjnikant. “Muthu”
is already a huge success in India and many
of the eastern countries like Japan. |

The
producer of the film Pushpa Kandasamy said
that he is in the thrill of Super Star Rajnikant
going all over the world. Etienne Dubaille,
an official of French Film Company Chabat
Chezwam, disclosed this news at the International
Film Festival of India, Goa. “Rent
a Wife” is slated for release in 2006.
