It
seems to be the season of political entries.
Captain Vijayakanth
announced his formal political party last
month. Now, it seems to be the turn of yesteryear
lover boy, Karthik. He launched a charitable
organization, Saranalayam and it has received
good response. To bolster |

the finances, he has decided to make a film
with story, screenplay and direction by
himself. The proceeds from the film would
form the substantial corpus for the outfit.
Besides, the executive committee meeting
of Saranalayam is slated for January, when
he would get to hear the views of all the
members. Based on the feedback, he has decided
to launch his political party. Karthik is
also making a comeback in films with a villain’s
role in Sivalingam
