In
a coordinated swoop on the houses of leading
film actors, music directors and directors,
officials of the Income tax department conducted
raids and unearthed substantial amounts
of cash and other assets. They were seeking
investigations into the accounts of income
and expenditure. They also looked into their
investments and whether they had filed their
tax |

and Jeyam Ravi are some of the personalities
whose houses were raided. The officials
said in a press release that this was an
exercise to unearth unaccounted money. |
