Stars join the chorus for aids relief |

It
was a star-studded evening at Hyderabad.
At a function organized by the Sun TV and
the NGO, Heroes Project, in connection with
raising funds for AIDS relief projects,
the star campaigner was Hollywood star |

and
activist, Richard Gere. Rubbing shoulders
with him were leading personalities from
the movie and entertainment industry in
South India. Kamal
Hasan, Revathy, Vikram,
Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Genelia,
Sreya, Kalanidhi Maran and many others raised
their concern about the disease and stressed
their solidarity for the victims. They also
said that awareness was the best solution
to the problem and that more work needs
to be done in the area of relief measures. |
