Iruttu Araiyil Morattu Kuthu, which hit the screens recently is amidst a huge controversy for its portrayal of the people of gay community. A renowned director had criticised the movie publicly. 

Talking about it to Behindwoods, Santhosh P Jayakumar, the director of IAMK said, "A lot of directors had talked about IAMK. Out of them, one director has been an inspiration for me to direct films. He had shown glamour scenes way back in 1980. Nowadays, we can't take movies like that. I don't know if we can reach that level. So, if he himself is against this, then I can't say anything."
