Nadigar Sangam to conduct a protest against Sterlite and Cauvery issue

Nadigar Sangam has officially issued a statement, announcing that they will go on a silent protest at Valluvar Kottam, T.Nagar, on April 8, between 9 am and 1 pm.

Nadigar Sangam's protest will be against Sterlite, and also to request to form the Cauvery Management Board very soon. Both the issues have been disturbing Tamil Nadu, as a state, and the actors association has decided to lend their hand for the same. Nadigar Sangam's current office bearers, Nasser, Vishal, Karthi, Ponvannan, Karunas, will be heading the protest.

All leading actors from Tamil cinema are expected to attend this protest.

Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi and other actors attended Nadigar Sangam meeting

Nadigar Sangam had organized a meeting today, April 21 for all its members to discuss topics related to actors excessive salary issues. The meeting took place at Park Hotel, Chennai between 10 AM to 12 Noon.

Several top heroes including Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Vishal and Karthi took part in the meeting. Nadigar Sangam's official Twitter handle suggested that the meeting went on very smooth and a good decision is expected to be made soon.
