''DHONI WAS ALSO CHARMED BY THE KAAKA MUTTAI KIDS''

The media has been flooded with pictures of the two Kaaka Muttai kids - Ramesh and Vignesh meeting up with ace Indian cricketer M.S.Dhoni along with their director Manikandan. We have some details regarding this meeting which is said to have lasted for about an hour. A source from the team adds

 

"The two kids expressed that they really liked M.S.Dhoni and we wanted to give them a surprise. Their joy knew no bounds when they met MSD without any prior intimation, on Saturday June 6th in Mumbai on the sidelines of a shoot involving Dhoni. This meeting lasted for about an hour and like everyone else, Dhoni was also charmed by the energy of the kids.

 

Dhoni also told us that he liked a few scenes that he saw of Kaaka Muttai thanks to the subtitles. He had also seen a few other Tamil movies with subtitles."

 

At the box office, Kaaka Muttai is holding really strong and at the end of the first 4 days, the film is said to have grossed close to 4.2 crores in Tamil Nadu with a very minimal drop on Monday. The film is doing well in Bangalore too, and the Fox Star Studios team now plans to take the film to other parts of the country in a phased manner. The Kerala release is planned on June 26.
