The producer of the upcoming Jigarthanda, S.Kathiresan of Group Company carries an illustrious profile in the industry as a film distributor, producer and also as a music distributor with Five Star Audio.

 

With Five Star Studio, he has released about 178 film albums, with Ilayathalapathy Vijay's film albums numbering to about 25.

 

As a film distributor, Kathiresan has distributed about 50 films in Tamil Nadu and more than 100 films in the overseas markets.

 

He has also produced Dhanush starrers like Polladhavan, Aadukalam and Naiyaandi.

 

Jigarthanda carries a U/A certificate and releases next Friday on August 1st. The film won't be receiving the entertainment tax exemption.
