Ilayaraja set to get discharged

The news of music maestro Ilayaraja suffering a mild heart attack a couple of days back sent shock waves across the world and the prayers and wishes for his speedy recovery came through thick and fast from all around the globe.

Ilayaraja was admitted in the popular Apollo Hospital in Chennai on 23^rd December after complaints of chest pain and on the very same day the doctors had announced that he was out of any danger. The doctors then advised that the composer be admitted for observation for a couple of days and even the option of angioplasty was being concerned.

Now, the latest information Behindwoods has received is that Ilayaraja is set to be discharged from the hospital sometime tomorrow, 26^th December, after showing positive signs of recovery and the composer will be making his way back to his residence very soon.
