Tech giant HTC has reportedly laid off some of its employees from its HTC Global office in the US. Reports say that HTC has also merged the smartphone and virtual reality divisions as part of a streamlining exercise. Earlier, HTC's head of smartphone unit, Chialin Chang also resigned from the company.
