Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly set to make payment feature live on the app by the end of February. According to an Economic Times report, the app is currently integrating its UPI based payment platform with SBI, HDFC, ICICI and AXIS banks. Reports say, the company had earlier received government’s approval to integrate with UPI and the feature is now in beta stage testing.
