Messaging app WhatsApp was down for almost an hour for users in India as they were not able to send or receive messages. Users experienced problems with the app across the world as well. According to reports, users in Singapore, Mozambique, Vietnam, Iraq, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Germany, USA and Sri Lanka also could not access the service. Users who had issues with the App turned to Twitter and Facebook to report about the blackout. The issue has been resolved and the app is now back online.
