Director of IMD Chennai, S Balachandran, has reportedly forecasted rain to continue for the next two-three days as the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is currently moving around Sri Lanka, adjoining south-west Bay of Bengal and Tamil Nadu coast. Reportedly, rainfall will continue over North coastal parts of Tamil Nadu with heavy to very heavy rains over some coastal districts in the next 24 hours.
