According to media reports, 50 people from the National Disaster Response Force have reached Chennai to take care of the relief measures. Chennai has been receiving heavy rainfall since Thursday evening and the streets have been flooded with rainwater. The regional Meteorological centre has reportedly announced that the city will be receiving more rainfall in the coming days.
