According to reports, Friday has been announced as a holiday for schools in seven districts after they witnessed heavy rain on Thursday. Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram, Nagapattinam, Karaikal, Tiruvarur, and Pudukottai were the districts that announced holiday for Friday.
