According to reports, the east entry to the Meenakshi temple in Madurai has still not opened after 36 shops were gutted in the fire that happened in the temple premises. The Madurai corporation employees have still not finished clearing the huge debris that was formed after the fire. Due to short circuit, a fire broke out in the temple premises on Friday.
