In the heart-wrenching Tirunelveli self-immolation incident, Esaki Muthu, the lone survivor, has also reportedly succumbed to injuries. The daily wage worker and his wife self-immolated at the Tirunelveli collectorate on Monday and set their two daughters on fire following harassment by a money lender. Earlier, the wife Subbu Lakshmi, daughters Mathi Saranya and Akshaya Baranitha died in the hospital.
