A sweet stall in Thuraiyur town of Trichy has been reportedly offering one litre of petrol or diesel free for those who buy sweets or snacks in their store for more than Rs 1000. Vedham sweets and snacks was recently relocated to the outskirts of the town and in order to compensate the distance being travelled by customers, the store is providing tokens which can be used to avail fuel at designated petrol bunks in town.
