Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has reportedly directed to carry out relief operations under emergency measures in the forest fire that broke out near Kurangani in Theni district on Sunday. While speaking to the media, the CM alleged that miscreants were responsible for such fire accidents and investigations will be carried out to know how the fire broke out. Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam also rushed to the spot and met the injured. Reports say, 24 people from Chennai and, 12 others from Tirupur and Erode were caught in the accident. Official sources have confirmed that 10 people have been rescued so far.
