The Trade unions have reportedly announced that the strike by Tamil Nadu transport employees will continue as the government has not yielded to their demands. While the transport staff demanded 2.57-times increase in their salary every three years, the government has reportedly agreed to give 2.44-times increase. The trade unions decision comes in the wake of the failure of talks between trade union representatives and Transport Minister M R Vijayabhaskar.
