An elderly couple living separately in a house was reportedly murdered on Thursday, at a village near Tirupur. The incident caused panic among the villagers as this is the second couple to be murdered this week. Police reports suggest that no money or jewellery had gone missing and the reason behind the murder is still uncertain.
