Tamil Nadu govt's steps on nurses controversy

In November last year, nurses in Chennai went on a strike demanding better salary and permanent positions. Replying to a plea filed in Madras High Court regarding the same, the Tamil Nadu government has said that 200 nurses will be made permanent soon and added that a six-member committee has been formed to look into their demands.
