Centre's breaking announcement on national anthem

The Centre has reportedly informed the Supreme Court that it is not mandatory to air national anthem in theatres. Notably, in October 2017, the SC had ruled saying that it was not necessary to stand up for the national anthem in theatres. Playing national anthem in theatres had previously set tongues wagging with both favourable and counter opinions.
