Manual scavenging: Three men die in Bengaluru

According to reports, three men died in south Bengaluru while manually cleaning manholes on Sunday at an apartment in Somasundarapalya. Narayana Swamy (35), Mahadeva Gowda (42) and Srinivas (52), died after inhaling some poisonous gas in a tank of the sewage treatment plant, say reports. Police have reportedly registered a case and are investigating the incident.
