As the North-East monsoon has intensified, Southern coastal districts of Tamil Nadu including Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Ramanathapuram will receive intense rains on Wednesday, S Balachandran, Director of Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai, said. Northern coastal districts including Chennai will receive heavy rains, and the rains will continue for three days, he added.
