Power supply will be stopped during rain: TN Minister

Tamil Nadu Electricity minister P Thangamani has reportedly said that power supply will be stopped during rain. The minister said Swiping Mission Scheme will be launched in 3,000 Electricity Board offices across Tamil Nadu. “We took precautionary measures ahead of the rainy season. With electrical wires usually on the surface in Chennai, power supply will be stopped during rain in order to avert electrification,” he reportedly said.
