Huge blow to Sasikala: Bengaluru prison officials deny parole

In a huge blow to sidelined AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala, who is presently serving jail term in Bengaluru for her conviction in the disproportionate assets case, was denied parole by prison officials to visit her ailing husband Natarajan, who is alleged to be in a critical condition. Relatives close to Natarajan, however, claimed that he is on ventilator support and there has been an improvement in his health condition. Since Sasikala was previously granted five days parole, Parappana Agrahara Jail officials have declined the request this time.
