“MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES”: RAJINIKANTH

After the NEET aspirant from Tamil Nadu committed suicide on Monday after failing to clear the medical entrance examination, actor turned politician Rajinikanth said, “Something has to be done to avoid this. Last year we lost Anitha, and this year one more girl has committed suicide. My deepest condolences to the girl’s family”.

Pratheba, a 17-year-old girl from Villupuram district failed to crack NEET even after scoring 1125 out of 1200 in her class 12 board examinations.

She scored 495 out of 500 in her class 10 board examinations. This was her second attempt to clear NEET. Last year she was qualified for studying Siddha after writing NEET, but she declined the offer and tried again. However, she ended up failing in NEET this year too.
