MLAs disqualification: SC refuses to stay enquiry into DMK’s plea

The Supreme Court on Monday reportedly refused to stay the enquiry on the petition by DMK against the disqualification of AIADMK MLAs by speaker Dhanapal from Tamil Nadu Assembly. The top court also adjourned the hearing of the plea by AIADMK’s Semmalai seeking the transfer of all cases related to MLAs disqualification to SC, adding that the Madras High Court will hear all the cases, say reports.
