A 21-year-old man who picked up a box from a playground in Thoraipakkam sustained severe injuries as the box exploded after he opened it. Nagamani and his friend reportedly went to a playground in Burma colony where he found the box. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance and after receiving first aid, he was taken to Stanley Government hospital. The box has been sent for a test.
