Special permission for the team that picks Ben Stokes

The Indian Premier League has reportedly said that it will allow a replacement player for the team that buys England's Ben Stokes if he misses the entire tournament due to legal proceedings. Stokes' participation in IPL 2018 is still a question mark after he was charged with affray following an incident outside a Bristol nightclub in September last year. Notably, Stokes was the most expensive overseas player in IPL history during the 2017 auction.
