Yamuna, a 34-year-old lab assistant has reportedly been admitted to the Kilpauk Medical Hospital with 46% burns after Raja, the owner of Sri Balaji Diagnostics, the lab where she worked poured some inflammable liquid on her and set her ablaze. He has been arrested by the Madipakkam police and charged with attempted murder.
