IT department releases statement after raid

The Income Tax department on Wednesday released a statement about its IT raid at the premises of sidelined AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala’s kin and associates. The statement said that they found just Rs 7 crore in cash, Jewellery worth Rs 5 crore and property documents worth Rs 1430 crore during the raid.
