The Indian Coast Guard on Wednesday reportedly apologised for firing at the Rameshwaram fishermen when they were fishing on the high seas on Monday. After holding talks with the fishermen, the coast guard officials reportedly said such incidents will not take place in the future, and an investigation will be conducted on the complaint of the fishermen. Notably, the Indian Coast Guard had earlier denied the allegations of the fishermen.
