The Returning Officer for the RK Nagar bypoll Velusamy had announced that 72 nominations were accepted. Among the nominees, four people with the name ‘Dhinakaran’ have been nominated, while three persons with the name ‘Madhusudhanan’ are in the list. Notably, 73 out of the 145 nominations were rejected by the Returning Officer.
