Delhi (National Capital Region) and parts of Uttarakhand were reportedly jolted by an earthquake of 5.5 magnitude on the Richter Scale. The tremors were felt at around 8:45 PM on December 6. Initial reports from Dehradun (118 kilometres from the epicentre of the earthquake) suggest that the tremors have not caused any significant damage.
