11 convicted under Prevention of Black Magic Act in this state

A court in Nashik, Maharashtra has reportedly convicted 11 people for the murder of two sisters under the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act (2013) and Acts against murder and criminal intimidation. The convicts had beaten the women to death as they had suspected that the women were possessed by evil spirits. The convicts have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
