Tamil Nadu government has reportedly announced that the driving licence of drivers who drive rental vehicles will be cancelled if they work for more than 8 hours in a day. According to the new rule, drivers driving rental vehicles should only work for 8 hours in a day and 48 hours in a week with one day of rest. The move comes after a report from Road Safety Department revealed that 90% of the road accidents happen because of tiredness and rental drivers are a major part of it.
