Egmore children’s hospital run out of space to occupy dengue affected children

The children’s hospital in Egmore has reportedly gone out of space and three children are made to share one bed, few get treated on stretcher, few lie down on floor and very small kids are made to lie down on parents’ laps. More than half of the children have been admitted to the hospital to get treated for dengue and a fever which is caused by dengue’s trigger. In total, 438 children have been admitted in the recent days, out of which 19 have tested positive for dengue.
