Actor Rajinikanth on Saturday left for Himalayas where he is known to visit very often. Tamil Nadu minister D Jayakumar came to Chennai airport to go to Delhi to attend the GST council meeting. When questioned about Rajinikanth’s trip, the fisheries minister said, “Aanmeega saami malai yerittar ippo (spiritual godman has now climbed the mountain).” Jayakumar also said that the state’s revenue has increased due to the implementation of GST.
