CHENNAI COP CHASED AND ATTACKED DURING MIDNIGHT PATROL

A police officer was reportedly chased and stabbed by three men while he was on night patrol near Poonamalee on Tuesday. The 45-year-old policeman investigated the men who were standing on the roadside for suspicious activity when they suddenly attacked him. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries. Police in the area were notified and the three men were immediately nabbed. A case has been registered and investigations revealed that there were pending murder cases against the nabbed men.
