MANAPPARAI: FARMER TORCHED TO DEATH WHILE BURNING WEED

A farmer was charred to death when he was burning life-sized weed plants growing on his farmland near Manapparai. The fire spread quickly due to winds and surrounded the farmer Kannaiyan. Unable to escape the fire, the farmer was caught in it and was charred to death. Fire Tenders rushed and extinguished the fire after locals informed. Vaiyampatti police have reportedly filed a case and are investigating the matter.
