PNB Scam: Nirav Modi’s close associate arrested

The Enforcement Directorate has reportedly arrested a close associate of Nirav Modi, who is accused of defrauding Punjab National Bank to the tune of Rs 14,500 crore. ED reportedly said that Shyam Sunder Wadhwa, Vice-President of Firestar Group, was arrested. Earlier, Nirav Modi’s associates and some bank officials were arrested and are in custody for interrogation.
